Kosovo
In collaboration with Caritas Kosovo.
It all began in a church during a conversation that led to my connection with Caritas Kosovo. This long-term project documents the lives of children in a home near Klina, as well as the everyday support provided to people in the region, including families and elderly individuals living alone.
The photographs capture daily scenes: children living, playing, and working together; people of all ages receiving essential support—food or medication—that they could not otherwise access or afford.
Despite its location in Central Europe, Kosovo remains heavily marked by poverty and the aftermath of war. My aim was to approach these realities with sensitivity, respect, and dignity—making social hardship visible without exploiting it.
This work is a quiet observation, an honest look at life on the margins, beyond grand narratives.
